New Jersey: Health Officials Investigating Five Potential Swine Flu Infections

Health Officials in the state of New Jersey are now investigating five different cases that they believe to be the swine flu. The individuals that are being investigated are all showing flu like symptoms and have recently traveled to either Mexico or California. All five of the individuals that are believed to be infected with the swine flu virus have only shown minor symptoms and none of them have had to be hospitalized.

Like, New Mexico, New Jersey has sent it samples to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to be tested to confirm that these cases are indeed the swine influenza. Results for New Jersey are expected to be received back before the weekend.

I will update you and let you know once these cases or either confirmed as either being the swine flu (Mexican flu) or some other illness.
