Swine Flu On Brink Of Becoming World Pandemic

On Wednesday the World Health Organization (WHO) officially announced that the swine flu outbreak is on the verge of becoming a worldwide pandemic.

The WHO made it clear in there statements that any influenza pandemic, of any kind should be taken very seriously and measures should be taken by all countries in order to help reduce its impacted. It also confirmed that deaths should be expected with the swine flu, as with any flu outbreak but that for most people a fairly quickly recovery should be expected.

Those most as risk include young children, senior citizens, the elderly, and people will already weakened immune systems.

Although this swine flu outbreak appears that it will affect a large amount of people our world has never been better prepared for an outbreak of this kind.
